Hi, i recently had the same problem with mine and found that the inside adapter was unplugged. I plugged it back in and all is working find, so if anyone has the "Busy Hi 40" message on the control box the check the adapter :)

The ASAA09JGC is a Fujitsu air conditioner. It has a timer control. If the air conditioning is interrupted by a power failure, the built-in auto restart will function to restart the machine when power is restored. However, the timer will reset and begin its count starting at the moment power was restored. AND a fault light will occur. This signifies an auto restart did occur, alerting you to the fact you may want to manually adjust the timer which has employed a new start time, that being when power was restored. The start/stop button you are pressing appears used in the context of a cleaning operation. In other words, the light that is blinking is not indicating mechanical failure of the machine but rather that a power failure occurred and your timer settings prior to that failure are no longer in effect, except duration wise. I believe the solution is to manually reset your timer. My quick look at the manual didn't spy a passage making that clear, i grant you. It is not the easiest read. Put the power back on and wait 5 minutes for the self test procedures to complete. Then try again. If that doesn't work, you need a Gas Certified Service Technician. you can't work on gas appliances yourself. The blower continues to run to clear any unburned gas after a flame out fault.
