In my case it looks like it was a corroded or loose connection to the overheat sensor, I re-terminated the cables at the sensor end (which were visibly corroded) and re-seated the connector at the control unit end, and now it's working. Thank you all for sharing your experience in solutions. I had the same issue few days ago. In my case , the overheat switch sensor at the return air flute end had corroded causing a closed circuit between the orange and purple wire. With a little bit of patience and care i had to remove the black flute fan and disconnect the exhaust outlet from the unit. I bought a new switch sensor for twenty five dollars and replace the corroded one. After assembly , the power was restored to the unit and the error Bussy 40 H1 disappeared , allowing the unit to function properly.
