In order to put back into floating point mode look for FSE button on your scientific calculator. FSE stands for FIX, SCI, ENG mode. Just try toggling FSE function button and this should fix this issue

It has P on the screen and wont work To fix this push the 2nd function key and then push the plus key. This P indicates you are in pentagonal mode not decimal mode.
