wireless connection has disappeared since re-installation of windows on dell d510 You will need the drivers from the Dell website, or install the Dell drivers and utilities disk if you still have it.

install wireless modem I assume you mean wireless router. Connect the dsl line to the modem and the modem to the wireless router and you are good to go. Securing the wireless router is another topic.
