Check the side wheels for obstructions.
First Try:
• With the robot on its back, push the wheels up and down several times to make sure nothing is stuck. Turn the wheels by hand to see if they both have the same amount of resistance.
• Clean the wheel assemblies
if this doesn't help please replace the wheel assembly
Most likely it's a dirty filter. Remove dirt tank and empty it. Remove the filter and rinse thoroughly in running warm water until the water runs clear. Allow to air dry thoroughly before using. I recommend having two filters so you have one to use while the other is drying.
If this doesn't help, do call a rep or take the vacuum to an authorized Aerus Electrolux store. A diagnosis is usually free.
The vacuum will need to be taken to the nearest Aerus Electrolux store for replacement. A rep can also pick it up and return it. If this is done, an estimate will be given to you over the phone. If the rep tries a demo spiel, FIRMLY tell him/her no.
Depending on when you got your vacuum, it may still be under warranty. I strongly suggest calling your dealer or sales rep, or taking the machine in, to have them check it.
It may be something as simple as a full bag!
I only have the number for the hoover service center in Seattle, but they can certainly point you in the right direction of a service center in your area or a customer service rep.
