I need a guide pin for a cartoni b511 quick release plate and i can not find one
If you are looking for a non-threaded 'locating' pin to stop smaller video cameras from twisting on the plate...Cartoni does not make one!!! You will either need to mickey mouse something or purchase a new camera plate from another manufacturer that offers this. Luckily this plate is a standard 'Euro' plate used by many video tripod manufacturers. For example, I know the Miller cat# 860 will take a cat# 493 DV carriage which provides not only the 1/4-20" screw but also the locater pin as an assembly.peter

Film won't load on Vectis 300 MinoIta
The clue is in your descrition; Old.
If the mechanism has jammed, due to age or lack of use that causes tarnisg=hing on the contacts, the motor/mechanism will not load.
I would get it serviced at an aurgorised Minolta repair shop.
Contact Minolta for a list of authorised repairers.

I tried to use a 16GB PNYcard in my picture fram and it would not work. It said "No Card" on the screen. What's the answer?
