each edge. Pull TV up to remove from stand. Put plate and 2 screws back. Can see this if you download the manual from the hitachi site. Just do a search for the model no. on their site's search engine
Remove them, and the entire stand should now slide right out of the TV. You can then replace the screws back in their holes, so you don't lose them. You do not need to disassemble the stand to do this
