SOURCE: No video at all
try first with one cpu and only one stick of memory in socket zero
if the video does not come on... try next to reset the bios .. clear the settings... it may be setup to search for a pci or pci-e video card in the bios
next try to test the wattage being pulled into the system at boot... should be over 200watts.. may indicate a power issure
are there any beep codes ... post codes or ... is there a single beep tone during power on to verify the motherboard is functional and checks out fine at self start...

tyan i5400xt.. to test for ground.. pull the board from the chassis and test with a different known good power supply
if the boot works... then you have a power supply issue...
does the board have a post code lighted signal ???
if so.. a bad power supply should goto FF error code
verify you have enough power on the cpu rail with your power supply specifications also
be sure you have all cables 4 pin 8 pin and 20/24 pin connections done correctly.. lastestly check if the board is touching the chassis edge anywhere... could cause a ground
also take and loosen all the MB screws from the chassis.. just let it hang there this will test the grounds needs the screw connections

If you boot your PC did you hear beep codes. Please post it here, the pattern of the beep sounds. It could be a short beep, a long beep and the number of times it beeps. It's very important cause it tells where in the hardware of your pc is faulty.
SOURCE: I am getting a BIOS POST error (87h) from system start to O.S. desktop
If you want to know what this is the error code is related to
Click start control panel administrative tools computer management then select event viewer this may vary depending on what operating system you have extend the events there you will see errors in red you will no what exactly what the error was and at what time it occured or click start type in event viewer press ENTER you might be able work your way through the problem
if you need more help with this post a reply with the error message details so that someone might be able to provide a solution
