The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

SOURCE: Print the date on the image/photo
It is not possible to embed the date/time stamp as part of the image itself with the XT. The date/time information is stored as part of the exif information stored in the image at the time of shooting.
However, you do have a couple options for printing images with the date/time stamped onto the image:
If you use the direct print capabilities of the camera when connected to a compatible printer (PictBridge, CP, or DirectPrint are all supported), you are able to enable an option that will print the image with the date/stamp printed on the image. There are also software packages that you can use that will do the same when printing from the computer.
And finally, it is possible, with some photo finishers, to request that they imprint the shooting date/time on the image. This will vary from photo finisher to photo finisher, and the will be some who can't, or won't, do this.

In order to imprint the date stamp on photos, the photo size (L, M1, M2, M3, S, Postcard) must be set to Postcard, and in the recording menu the "Date Stamp" option must be set to Date or Date & Time.

When you download the pics to your computer and view them, is the date and time on the pics then? If not, then your camera is not including the info on the pic itself.

What you have to do is click the menu button right of the review pics button. Then click the joystick right then down until its on date stamp option. Click it and then then click the off option. And voila the date stamp is off :-)

Hi,
Olympus Stylus Tough 3000 prints date on image if you connect it directly with printer to get print out of pictures. Printer must have PictBridge mark to receive picture data directly from camera. Usually this type of printer calls photo printer.
Olympus Stylus Tough 3000 does not show time/ date stamp in picture files either in camera playback or transferred in computer. It only prints date info while printing photos through photo printer.
Connect camera with printer and select Custom Print in setup/ print mode, you will see Date option (with/without) to get photo printout with desired info.
Above info also available in user manual, check page-54 fro more details. Click HERE to download related user manual free copy.
Hope these info will help you.
Thanks.
