The Ricoh copier error code SC322 or 322 is a laser synchronization problem.

This error code can mean:
Bad LDB
Bad IPU Board
Bad Controller Board
Bad Detector Board
Check the wires between I/F and Detector.

After the polygon motor reaches standard rotation speed and the LD unit fires for 400 ms, the laser synchronization detector does not get a signal.
• wires between detector and I/F disconnected or bad
• Detector is installed incorrectly
• Detector board is bad
• IPU board bad

To reset this error try the code:
"Clear Mode"+107+"Clear/Stop" hold for 5s.
Turn ON and OFF the Main Switch.

If the problem persists you may need to contact a local service technician to take a look at your copier.

Lanier LD118d showing a error sc322, how to fix
sc322 is an error with the copier's laser unit. You can pull the laser unit out and clean it up if there is toner on or in it, but more than likely either the polygon mirror motor or the laser unit as a whole assembly should be replaced.

I HAVE AN ERROR SC 322 WHEN i GO TO PRINT RICOH 1035
Error Code SC322:
1st laser synchronization error

The 1st laser synchronization signal cannot be detected by the main scan synchronization detector board even if the laser diodes are activated.

Possible Causes:
+ Poor I/F harness connection between the laser synchronization detector board and the LD unit.
+ Laser synchronization detector board out of position and angle of reflection not correct
+ Laser synchronization detector board defective LD unit defective

Not sure what your expertise is on this, but unless you know how to service the machine yourself, this one is going to require a service call...

There have been instances where toner drops onto the LD Unit and creates problems like this. About a month ago I replaced the Laser Synch. Detector Board in a 1045 for this exact problem and error code.

I'd start by cleaning up any toner on the LD unit, and re-seating all the electrical connectors on the laser unit. If that doesn't clear things up, it's probably one of two things, the LD Unit or the Synch. Board. I'd lean more towards the Synch. Board myself, but you never know...

Functional Problem SC322
Polygon mirror motor is bad. Sometimes you can put a drop of oil on the shaft, but at best is a temporary fix. You'll end up having to replace it. Good luck

SC322 on Savin 4035
Laser synchronization error. It could be just toner on the LD unit. Try cleaning and doing the Pitch adjustment. If that doesn't work , then either the unit itself is bad, or the Sync. Detector board.
***This will obviously require a tech.

I need solution to aficio 200 error code sc322
sc322 is a Laser synchronization error:

Means that the laser synchronization signal cannot be detected by the main scan detector board.
Possible causes:
Poor connection of the interface harness which connects the laser synchronization detector board and the BiCU board.

Laser synchronization detector board out of position or is defective.
BiCU board is defective.

Unfortunately,unit needs service.

Ricoh AP2600 printer gives an error message of SC322
1st Laser synchronization error signal error. The 1st Laser that turns on inside of the printer can't synchronize properly to print out documents which is why this message comes up and nothing is printing. Probably is going to need to be replaced but a qualified service tech is going to need to look at it further.
