When the problem started, the laptop panel lights come on when the laptop is switched on but nothing shows on the screen.
I sent the computer to a technician who fixed the problem. He advised me to format my hard drive.
I didn't format the hard drive because the screen was now working and I had important information on the computer which I did not want to lose.
About a month later, the laptop started misbehaving again. When I turn the computer, the screen comes on but just before it shows the user log-on screen, the screen goes black and a vertical yellow line appears at the right side of the screen.
When this occurs, I would manually turn off the computer and then turn it on again. Sometimes the computer would boot normally or sometimes it will try to repair itself by attempting repairs on the hard drive.
This problem has been occuring more frequently and the situtation keeps getting worse. Recently, I tried turning on the computer and the computer refused to start!
I am out of ideas, I need your help!!
Try to re format first if can but> save all all importantant dava in drive D:\ or Save it out in External hard drive to avoid lossing of Files. about the program you can't save it will loss all then re installed again..
if you have Special program like program of your businness or work.. should be you have copy of that.. Data should be back up also if available and emails if you are using MS Outlook or Express Outlook..
then start the reformat.. if available if not check the inverter first of your laptop use another inverter to check it ..
