If it is an ink printer, the ink ribbon or roller is probably running out of ink. Buy a new roller or ribbon and try it.
If it is a thermal printer, the paper rolls may be low grade. Try buying thicker high grade paper rolls. If that doesn't work, the print head in the printer probably needs replacing.

Hi,


Please check the troubleshooting section of the manual to determine the fix for the blinking lights. This could also fix the problem of the partial receipts. If this does not work, then you might need to factor reset your receipt printer. Thank you.

Have you checked to see if the paper is in the correct way round, most tills have a receipt turn off mode. Consult your manual to find out how to switch back on

We just got a new xe-a102, we do not need to print receipts...how do you turn off that function?
To disable receipt printing:
  • Press the Rcpt/PO key in the OP X/Z position. This key toggles the receipt printing status ON andOFF.
  • To check the receipt printing status, turn the mode switch to the OP X/Z position or press the CL key in the REG mode.
  • When the function is in the OFF mode, the receipt off indicator “_” illuminates.
To issue a receipt when receipt ON/OFF function is set to OFF:
If your customer wants a receipt after you finalized a transaction with the receipt ON/OFF function in the OFF
mode, press the RCPT/PO key. This will produce a receipt. If more than 50 items were entered, the receipt will be
issued in a summary receipt format. Your register can also print a copy receipt when the receipt ON/OFF
function is in the “ON” status.

OKI 24DX - Press ONLINE button to print each page
you have to open your printer icon in CONTROL PANEL

CONTROL PANEL
THEN
PRINTERS AND FAXES
RIGHT CLICK ON YOUR OKI PRINTER

select PREFERENCES

under SET UP and MEDIA size change it to A4

I think this might help you. I'm guessing that you have the wrong size paper selected. And each time the computer needs you to confirm you want to print with a different size paper

I wouldn't phone OKI help line..I was on hold for 15 minutes, then just gave up.

Casio TK2300 - receipt printing
Hi. It sounds like you have the receipt switch in the on mode. You'll probably find it can only do two receipts when they are called up when in receipt off mode, so slide the switch to off, then make a sale. at the end of the sale, press the receipt button once. Wait for print, then press it again. you can program it for a third if needed by doing the procedure I gave you, but use a 3 in place of the 2.
