You have not mentioned the application you are using.
This is probably not a problem with the printer. this is mostly possible due to macros in the application through which you are printing the cards
try to find out if any patches available for your application.
Also try to install your application again after doing uninstall of the same.
Hope this will definitely solve your problem. Do remeber to run microsoft update for your operating system
