Remove the work bowl from the base of the food processor, and separate the bowl, lid, and pusher sleeve.
Plug the base into the wall outlet, turn the food processor ON, and then use a pen to press in the dark grey or black button on top of the base of the food processor - if you hear some kind of noise, then your motor is still good.
Put the work bowl on first, with the handle facing the front of the food processor.
Put the lid on, with the hollow feed tube facing the back of the processor.
Put the pusher sleeve in the lid, with the sliding lock switch facing the front of the processor.
Your processor should now turn on.

Good luck!

KFP0711 Kitchenaid food processor won’t turn on even when put together. Just opened and never been used.

Read the handbook and make certain you are assembling the bowl, lid and pusher correctly, they can all play a part in activating the safety mechanisms that put the appliance in the mode that will allow it to be started.

The base can only be put on one way then the top has to be put on one way and it must interlock or the know won't turn. Make sure the parts fit together right

Need an instruction manual for moulinex la machine model 390

I have an order of parts coming that I won on eBay, which I wanted for the DoughWorks, plus to replace my lid for the Vegetable Chef, as mine has a broken strap. I never had a manual, as I bought my processor second-hand over 25 years ago. I just figured out on my own how to use it. The box of parts I am getting has a manual, and I will be happy to scan it. Please send an email to clay_pots_47@msn.com and put La Machine Manual in the subject line.

I used the shredding blade and now can't get the inside spindle to pop off or the bowl. It will still work if I put the blade in and turn it on. How can I get the spindle and bowl loose?

I posted about this somewhere else. Sounds simple but it worked for me. Give the spindle a good whack with a wooden spoon all the way around and it will come loose.

Cuisinart dlc-7 superpro food processor won't run.

The DLC-7 SuperPro is awesome -- very powerfull. Be aware they are 1.5 horsepower; the blade can take your hand completely off in a blink of an eye. Because of the potential danger, SAFEGUARDS are in place such that everything must be aligned and in correct position or it WILL NOT POWER-UP. So, yes, is very likely the safety switch.

Simple test: Use just the BASE, (no work bucket, no top, no blades), such that if it starts, only the spindle will turn. There is a little black button on the base, just back of the spindle. Use a chop-stick to depress it. Plug-in, press the button w/chop-stik, press the PULSE button. It should power up.

Presuming it powered up okay, the "problem" is probably in how the unit is assembled; such that the button is depressed properly.
1. The work bowl must be all the way down on the base, and the alignment column in the back, work bowl base skirt turned to the "Hard Stop". It will feel very solid when docked properly.
2. The top inserts and rotates into and snaps into position while pressing the plunger into the button.

It all sounds too easy, but if something is just a little off, the plunger doesn't plunge ind the power doesn't go on.

These are FABULOUS machines -- spend the time into getting it working. The near- equivalent if something this robust and powerful in today's products will cost nearly a THOUSAND dollars - seriously.

Im not sure how to use the attachments for my moulinex masterchef vitasum food processor and how to use them when your making a cake.

Visit this link and fill in the details:
https://www.2instructions.com/search.php?cmarque=MOULINEX&modele=MASTER%20CHEF%20VITASUN
Basically it should be as simple as putting a disc or if making a cake with most food processors, using the universal steel blade attachment by dropping it into the jug and turning to lock. Some machines only need the blade tool to just be dropped in. Then put the ingredients in, fit the top lid until it locks, put the feeder tube in to minimise leaks/spills and then turn on.

I need a part

Are you looking for the blade assembly for the chopping bowl? It has the blade and removal tool. I have an order of parts coming that I won on eBay, which I wanted for the DoughWorks, plus to replace my lid for the Vegetable Chef, as mine has a broken strap. There are duplicates of parts I won't need in it. Please send an email to clay_pots_47@msn.com and put La Machine Parts in the subject line and describe what you need. I can't help those of you asking about La Machine II, entirely different machine. I only have parts to fit the original Moulinex 500 series machines.
