SOURCE: File Storgae Error

Hi

The best way to solve your problem is to do a hdd format. Use Topacces to backup the data. All data will be lost. Speed dails, e-mail adress, and e-filling data. Switch machine off, hold down 08 and switch machine on. After the beep let go of 08. Enter code 690 and hit start. Leave the machine to run through the format. Switch it off and on again. Note that the network settings will have to be set up again.

Try this, Press the Cancel button several times, leave it for few minutes, and then Turn off and switch on while you keep pressing the cancel button. If there's memory installed on the Dimm slot, remove it and re-install it.

Also check the print queue, Start > Printers and Faxes > double-click the printer's icon, click "printer" on the menu and select "Cancel all Documents" click "Ok" and restart both computer and the Machine. (I assume your computer with windows Operating System Installed.)

Sometimes reseating the cartridges and drum is helpful. You can give a try. But since you can make copies, I don't suspect the issue's related to the machine, but with the computer and memory.
Disconnect and reconnect the cable (usb) connecting the machine to the computer.

Good luck.

The way to repair the error is to reister the user on the machine.
