Hi, the problem is with the instalation of the printer. uninstall the printer, erase all the archives after de uninstall that could belong to the printer driver, then DISCONECT the printer, install the drivers, and after everything is installed, connect the printer. that should work, at least for me its working now........ plz excuse my bad english. bye!

I Install it, apear that scanner's cable don't is on.
I have bought a new pixma MP140 but despite following instructions, installing, uninstalling, reinstalling I only get error 2,155,0. I have tried e mailing canon customer services but it seems impossible, fill in the form on their site, click send, hey presto, there was a problem sending. After 20 attempts I have given up.
I am not impressed with this machine or canon in general, I doubt I will ever buy another canon product.
same problem, the photo copier works fine but it does not scan to the computer.
yes this problem happened for my MP145 too.
I still could not find any solution.
Someone said we can fixed it by change new USB connector
I already tried but it did not work.
