I'm not sure which panel is the access panel to the memory chip. I know one is for the battery. I did this procedure once before in my Desktop, so I know it's not a hard procedure.
Installation of memory chip is pretty much the same for most laptops. To install another memory chip please follow the instructions from the following videos:
