Turn the timer slowly clockwise until the compressor and fans stop. Leave the timer alone in that position that turned the compressor and fans off for up to 35 minutes. In the first few minutes after the timer turned fans and compressor off you should be getting defrost. If timer comes on by itself and you have defrost results the timer and defrost heater are good. If the timer does not turn the refrigerator back on but the defrost took place then replace the timer. Every different refrigerator or freezer has a different amount of time on for cooling and time off for defrost so it is important to know what the model number is to answer the part number and time off/on ratio. What is the model number of the refrigerator that the timer is on? Sea Breeze

Message on screen says lamp needs to be replaced then timer reset. Need lamp and instructions to reset timer

The lamp time reset will be or should be in the owner manual---Google the model number with keywords "lamp install" with the model number and the "manual" with the model number---Google can be a great help.

Clock does not rotate

If clock does not rotate, then check if outlet has power. Check for loose wires.
If clock rotated before and stopped working, then clock motor might have gone bad.

Replacement clock: Taco timer uses the FM1 timer module.
Voltage and timer information appear on back of timer.

Open following links to identify timer and model number:

For example Taco timer module is 24 hour, and 120Volts, and doesn't have battery back-up.
-If timer has on-off-timer switch, then model number is FM1STUZH-120U
-If timer does not have on-off-timer switch, then model number is FM1STUZ-120U

Describe your INDUSTRIES 59112 INDOOR DIGITAL TIMER 24-HOUR Problem -- I lost my instructions. I'm surprised they are so hard to find on line. Where can I find out how to program the timer?

1) Thank you for the model number.
Question posted under oval-shaped Woods 59112 timer.
This timer has minimum 5 different product numbers, and has also been misidentified by sellers as 59203, plus Westinghouse has two similar oval timers with 2 additional product numbers.
Open following links to identify timer and download possible manual:
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Noma-TD1000.pdf
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#Oval

2) Typically: Always come to fixya when searching for a manual, and describe product and include product number for best possible result.

3) When searching for on-line manuals:
a) put quotation marks on search parameter: For example "59112 manual" or "59112 timer manual" or "59112 timer"
b) do a google image-search for 59112 timer
c) I usually image-search first to identify product. And then google search with instruction .pdf
So search would be: 59112 timer manual .pdf -or- 59112 timer instruction .pdf

4) Generally, except for industrial timers that have replacement PC boards, there are no repairs for defective timers.

5) Plug-in digital timers have replaceable battery, or have rechargeable battery.
Last step troubleshoot is to replace battery and reset timer.
The rechargeable battery is not replaceable
If timer function is not restored afterward, then timer has gone bad.

6) Take a moment and rate answer:
And take advantage of fixya expert assistance live.
For a price, expert works with you while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

I have a dayton model 2e353a timer to turn my pool off & on. It's quit keeping time & allowed pool motor to run constantly

Replace defective timer with new one.

Did you include correct product number?
Dayton is owned by WW Grainger.
Grainger site does not show that timer number.
Internet search does not show that timer.
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/search.shtml?searchQuery=dayton+timer&op=search&Ntt=dayton+timer&N=0&sst=subset

Add a comment and describe timer in detail, and include photo posted on flickr, include number of pins or contact markings, voltage of control circuit, voltage of load circuit, and type of pump (1 or 2-speed) with HP rating for possible new timer recommendation.

Timer does not activate setting wheel. Stays on or off all the time.

1) If wheel is not turning, then replace motor

http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/search.shtml?searchQuery=Wh40&op=search&Ntt=Wh40&N=0&sst=subset
There are numbers printed on clock motor. Also look inside door to see model number of timer. If you have a T101 or T103, T104 the T100 motor will work.

2) If manual override is not working, then replace whole timer.

3) You can buy same timer, and then swap insides
without replacing box. For example if you have T101R, the R stands for rain-tight box. Buy T101 and swap insides. Keep in mind T103 and T104 and T101 are not interchangeable due to wiring differences.

Gets stuck in cycle I have to turn the knob to get it to continue. The machine is the heavy duty large capacity I can't find a model #

Looks like you need a timer. If the model number is really gone there should be a part number n the timer. look everywhere around the door/lid and even on the back. Eric
