had to start using one of my redundant mouse's that needs a

i noticed immediately that it could work almost normally if
i lifted it 1/4 inch off the table.I'm not going to deal with this like that though..i speculated that it must be because the laser sensor is too
sensitive..( since it works better from farther away....)
i wanted to try to put a piece of scotch tape over it to
act as a diffuser to make it less sensitive, but i was too
busy. lol. so like a month later . i finally tried the tape
idea, and it works perfectly!!!. dam

I have the same problem it has happened before and it then worked just fine after, but now no matter what i tried such as re installing the headset i can not hear anybody in my xbox live party or myself, I tried recording a voice message to try and hear myself but nothing. I can however hear the game and can talk. I just can't hear any myself or anybody talking to me.
