well you are correct. but what is dead, AM or FM or SAT or what? nor NAV + CEL or GPS bad? some cars have 3 or more hidden antennas, depends on options put on the car day1.

some had huge power antenna, AM/FM that fully retracts.
seen in the manual with 8 pin plug and huge DC motor inside it.
cars are sold new with 3 or more radio options, and are not all the same.
google and AI says it is inside the rear glass, and not to scratch it or the radio goes dead.
ok google is my friend the silly online service manual on the 2 digital radio options shows no antennas at all , a huge error there
