Basically the large wire from the battery goes to one of the larger threaded copper terminals and the large wire to the starter goes to the other [no particular order] The two small wires from the ignition and return via other interlock switches go to the two spade terminals [again, no particular order].

The BH25 that I use from my friend runs on STRAIGHT gas, it is 4cycle. Do NOT put a fuel mix into it!! It has separate oil system.

a Tractor it is not a car or a truck tried to move you the tractors. DIESEL well there are only so many ways to drain any tank besides removed and turned up side down. learn to syphoned fuel (youtube it) remove a fuel line at bottom of tank and let it self drain to a bucket. or use hand fuel pump sold in all auto stores and pump it out by hand. really this is basic basics, do it in a way that makes the least mess most folks do.

It looks like it is a 1960 or later model.John Deere tractor model 4010 was actually a later model, part of the "10" series introduced in 1959, and was not a diesel engine model until 1960.If it was stored a long time and the oil turned to sludge in the oil pump, it is likely sludgy in all the oilways. The is an idea in the link that suggests it may be a mis-shapen pipe. The specialist tractor forms are a great resource. We don't get many agricultural tractors on here, mainly JD garden tractor mowers. Check the battery negative cable at the point where it bonds to engine and frame. Typically it is stacked with another ground wire on an engine mounting bolt. Check all engine mounting bolts for sufficient torque.
