2007 Jeep Liberty code P0300?

1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. How to fix a Stalling issue?
no DTC error posted. P03xx , we need the exact code to be savvy the CKP (old name CPS) has spacer gap setting 05252229 pad there. if you install any new or worse used CKP the pad is missing and if is missing the first time you crank the engine the CKP sensor will and must be destoryed, the CKP must have the gap set, correctly not just throw on the sensor. So you lost the distributor timing, well that is not easy to fix on the 4.0L engine the SM service manual states not to remove DISTRIBUTOR FOR CMP replacement "The camshaft position sensor is located in the distributor on all 4.0L engines (Fig. 37). For removal/installation procedures, refer to Camshaft Position Sensor. Yes, that is the whole idea of Limp Mode. It limits you to first and second gear so you can limp slowly to the nearest garage without causing catastrophic damage to the engine. 2001 Grand Cherokee. How can I remove the tie rod end from the pitman arm in the backyard without a pickle fork?
well it has taper shaft there. there are only 2 ways to do that. beat it to deathh wrecking the threads or get the hand press and use that, same tool as used on lug nut studs puller. some use the 100 year old way, if super lucky , most are not leave the nut there 1/2 unscrewed and flush with top of treads then hit it there. with a hammer. really the question is how can I do it wrong, well gee lots of ways to do things wrong. endless even cut it off with a plasma torch. one way to learn is ask wrecking yard to teach you , pull pitman arm or pull tie rod to it. the makers of steering parts do not what it to fall off at 85MPH in DALLAS. so the shafts are tapered and get tighter with age. and rust. not told you if the tie rod new is in a box, ready to fit there, and matters HUGE THAT> if you have the spare rod then also smack the side of the ball end of rod this too can loosen it up. lacking proper tools what can you do? 2004 Jeep Liberty. Lights Problem.
Old Question. Check continuity on all the fuses with a multimeter. You can do this very fast if you leave the fuses in and touch the probes on the two tiny contacts on top of the blade fuses. Sometimes a blown fuse will cause strange things to happen as one action will cause power to find a new route to ground. The two wires to the starter on a 94 Jeep Wrangler do both of them have power
no transmission told mines manual. 1995 YJ there are 3 on some the solenoid on side of starter the tiny one goes hot only cranking via starter relay the big out (outboard) is huge cable PLUS red to battery Plus. some SOL have huge inboard lug and this is the DC motor power if seen there. if it will not crank even jumper cabled to other car shift to Neutral and it will there. PRNDL if is manual trans jumper the clutch switch first. jumper wire this is the clutch starter cut out switch.

I have a 2002 Jeep
Old Question! If an alternator is changed, any mechanic with a good reputation would suggest that the serpentine belt is changed whilst it is all stripped down. Chirping noises come from slipping belts, but more like squealing. Could be the tensioner / idler pulley, or the AC Compressor or the water pump. Get a 3 foot length of 1/4" plastic tube, put one end in your ear and whilst being very careful, put the other end near the items mentioned. You will easily work out where the noise is.

Bad speed sensor
you have like 10 + posts and only 2 cars told.we can not guess cars.just create only 1 post per car and 1 problem per car is best.Jeep gc 2002 4.7 but this time told grand cherokee and 4.7L why are you saying speed sensor.with no symptoms told. wrong.engine speedABS speedtranny speedwhat, tell what fails, engine, tranny or brakes.we can not guess evidence ever, and not told 1 clue.check all fusesthen scan the OBOD2 port if is USA car is it?https://lemon-manuals.la/Jeep/2002/there are 5 grands sold then,. not told you which one, but you only need to click yours there. Back brakes locking up on 2005 jeep liberty I have put two sets of pads on.
No VIN told. got ABS? and option until 2006, I will say no. 2wd or 4wd????? both rear brakes , lock? or just 1, matters huge in trouble shooting the calipers can bad , if the piston seizes if the caliper slider pins seize that must be repaired next warpped or omg cracked rotors. does this jeep have top hat , rear caliper EMRG. brake shoes?? I will now read the FSM to you on that. this jeep rear brake calipers do not have caliper internal emergany /parking brakes. so you must be sure the Emergancy brake cable releases fully at both rear brakes. the park cables in salt belt rust and lockup. just replaces both mine every inch of new cables 2 rear and 1 to brake HAND park lever. all seized up. inside the top hats./ remove a rotor see inside it, see that tiny brake DRUM those are top hat EMERG show brakes there and those too can seize. for brake jobs, the TECH inspects all this so the customer can drive safe. Emergency/park brake parts, all. top hats and shoes too. and for bad calipers , rotors and pads all is inspect and BINGO found. 13 years on salted roads all this will be a huge huge mess. salt kills it all dead. im ex sailor, USN. I expended vast energy fighting salt. endless stories. bosch-undefined-undefined-0.jpg bosch has the best view shows parking SHOE surfaces. Rust kills it dead.

Old Question answered by Larry.Larry NgMay 14, 2026no year told nor VIN. or engine told and is Auto/Trans Box.is this your first day driving it./????????some years even a diesel engine.and 4 speed A/T box. and 6 speed manual like my Wrangler has.2002 to 2012?tiny 2.4L engine? gee mine is slow in in all 5 speed manual tranny gears and useless in top gear. (the engine is squirrel powered)what does RPM do. in OD?? it must drop,rises that is slip. (or as A/T techs say a false neutral or FLARE)or it picks the wrong gear only you know what it did. for sure.many 4p A/T box OD is just 4th gear. and 3th gear is 1:1 ratioreal name 42RLEso they call it OD. if the box is failing the OD lamp flashes.and OBD2 port shows DTC errors, so scan it.\\most cars with OD do not allow OD in 4wd, are you 4wd optedand OD is also blocked if engine load is too highlike pulling a trailer or has bricks in rear of car or 3 fat boomers. hehehe.or going up huge hills.the A/T brain is not daft it knows not to burn up the clutch packs for sure overloaded. in any way shape or form.DATAgear ratios: 1st gear is 2.84:1, 2nd gear is 1.57:1, 3rd gear is 1:1, and the overdrive gear is 0.69:1SO 4TH GEAR IS IN FACT OD.AND OD CAN FAIL MANY A WAYEVEN A WEAK ENGINEdid you know the PCM computes engine load at all timesand tells the 42RLE that load factor, to the tranny TCM brainif the TCM sees load wrong it will down shift.the TCM does not want to burn up the 4 gear clutch pack that be wrong.get a full engine tune-up first.is this your first day driving it./????????OD fails at all cruising speeds? not told.

2006 Jeep Liberty. I accidently left the key on, battery went dead. Once I jumped it the ESP/BAS, stability control and airbag light came on and stayed on. Can anyone tell me how I may address it?
Old Question. You need a professional grade scan tool computer to clear the codes, rescan and reprogram. If it happens again, charge the battery, don't jump it from flat.

I have a 1996 4.0 jeep Cherokee country that wont stay running and stalls out when driving I'm trying to pass inspection and had recently had multiple misfires I changed plugs wires rotor and cap/coil
do not spin the dissy clamp there or injector timing will be way off. 1 to 50 causes of stalls 10 tests or more. plugs gapped to spec or using wrong PLug 0.045" wrong. never skip the gaps. unless buying Elon Musk $20 pre gapped plugs. heheheh why not scan the obd2 port first. see if the ECU is not happy be a shame if it was, unhappy and you didnt see it. the 4.0L I own2 one I Drove 250,000 miles from new. only failure was IAC gum up ever 10k, miles. and stalls. idle air controller. my answers are USA only, OBD2 started 1996 USA invention and EPA law. if it is misfiring see P030x errors you will or worst. P03xx errors for CMP or CKP failures. sensors. injectors leaking or partly clogged. I hate snake oil but if you run rotten fuel gee Chevon Techon fuel injector cleaner is not junk it is powerful benzine. in to the tank. run it. when it wants to stall, use a happy right foot to forestall the stall. yes pun. but is a test. this adds air. if the air cleaner is packed that will never FLY. finish the tune up. that right happy foot adds air 1: no change and stalls 2: delays stall 3: omg cures it. as long has foot stays happy. flop. flop learn to use a scan tool. it pays for itself 1 or 2 hours labor saved , free tool or 1 part point on that is and was good , tool paid for. then after that it is INVESTMENT GRADE , best is tool 2008 up, so it works on all cars even new cars. the box will say , CAN-BUS certified. compression test pass over 150psi . x6 vacuum holds steady at idle, no sticking head valves and violant needle bounce. scans good fuel pressure at rail at spec, idle and key only,. both. the fuel pressure regulators this old are dead or iffy or worse intermittent.

Radiator fan isn't coming on in 2004 jeep loredo, I've replaced thermostat and water pump. fan spins, came on for a few and stopped. then car overheated. thanks in advance.
it only comes on if A/C is on, cold air flows.if not A/c on, the service manual tells you it comes on 225f until 260f is hit 50% AF boils at 265F, rad cap not bad. lots of caused for over heat what is the poof it did, STEAM? just the silly old gauge telling lies. water blasting to the ground what? water flyout the end of the tail pipe the coolant must be full , no air allowed or the ECT sensor and the gauge both lie if air pocket land on the ECT, no engine told burp out all air first, learn how first. do not run only water ever. what is a laredo that name is trim level for GC I think I have 2010 GC it is Cherokee or is grand Cherokee, here is the real list of names, Grand Cherokee 2WD Grand Cherokee 4WD Liberty 2WD Liberty 4WD TJ (CANADA) L6-4.0L Wrangler the 4.7l engine has hydrolic compolex cooling fan. no engine told of 8 laredo types the electric fan behind RAD on 4L I 6 engine inline six. has 2 speeds and 2 speed relays tool fuse f10 ,16 and F20 not blown.. if is 4L both relays good and 3 fuses good the ECT must not fail it self , its wires and no air allowed in the upper coolant loop ever. learn to burp properly. vast youtube cover those steps. my 3.7 and 4.7L has wonderful top of manifold burp plug amazing it is and effective. running pure water is DOOMED 50 % only AF full to top. of highest point of the engine. if ECT is dead it will stick in ALASKA mode and no fans again. wires fall of ECT and resistance is now infinity, and PCM can not see coolant temps at all, never allow that. watch out for wrong water pumps on mine they sell 2 pumps one is reverse pump and only works on my jeep. do not guess pumps use the correct one. it spins backwards on the SERP seen clear as day if looking . overheating has vast causes even bad head gasket, forcing gas in to coolant and the ECT lies and it goes x10 worse fast. I do a RAD leak down test on all engine acting up. see DAVE"s auto on youtube he covers all those tests. 3 ways and 3 tools to find it. leakdown pressure, vacuum test and the tool that a find finds exhuast fumes in the radiator cab off neck test.

Have 2003 Grand Cherokee Jeep stalls time to time?
in fact 1 to 50 causes of stalls. bad engine bad vast ( burned up head valveS) bad spark many (a tune up skipped_)? bad fueling more. or even bad fuel in the tank. or bad EFI just 1 loose sensor. wire or rusty testing is first ever do the 100k mile service point turn uP? y/n? so as it wants to stall? do a throttle hot foot to prevent it. , useless test.? or only delays it ? a bit. or I can drive it hot footing it all I want. (a pain yes but is a test) the hot foot adds AIR. (air cleaner packed up?, dirt, nests ,bugs) if the IAC is gummed up it will want to stall lacking AIR this is just step1. of 50 cause and 1 to 10 tests with tools you do not have. scan it yet? all modern cars must be scanned. or go broke fast. guessing.

2007 jeep grand Cherokee engine light on throwing codes - p1128 p0038 p1129
2007 GC, no engine told, not even gas or diesel.we can not guess engines. nor if 4wd.' there are 5 engines offered day1 new. even turbo diesel. no country told , nor VIN to find it all. I will pick 3.7L gas and 2wd and see if it hits VIN K not flex fuel P0038-O2 SENSOR 1/2 HEATER CIRCUIT HIGH means heater burned out side 02 or wires cut. at it. 1/2 means (jeep jive) B1 S2, bank 1 sensor 2, 10x more clear. it means spark plug 1 bank, rear of cat sensor 2 is bad. P1128 - CLOSED LOOP FUELING NOT ACHIEVED - BANK 1 lots of causes and is wasted fuel like mad. P1129-CLOSED LOOP FUELING NOT ACHIEVED - BANK 2 so both banks are hard fail. most times its running supper rich. one cause is fuel pressure way way too high the regulator is in the fuel tank part of fuel pump. the first 02 error is not the cause. 0038. (fix last) Id do test to see if engine was tool lean or too rich. most EFI if it can not control fuel mixture it goes rich on purpose to not damage valves (head) or overheat engine. rich side is safer. dead MAP sensor injectors leaking? partially clogged injectors ECT dead. stuck in ALASLKA temps endless. or thermostat bad stuck COLD ? 11 year old stats are EOL life of a STAT is 7 years (says top maker of them) best is new STAT , new fan belt and all new engine coolant and make sure after engine warms up it hits 180 to 195F or it will waste fuel. $3.75 a gallon in texas.
