The ventilation fan of my power inverter wont shut off

This is hard without knowing the specifics, but these fans can be wired to be on all the time, or controlled by the thermo-switch, or even electrically controlled by a logic board. You may have a stuck Thermo-switch or a bad logic board, since to fail shorted is the standard failure mode (for a Triac).

What could make my 3.5kva su kam inverter to blow up each tym its been put on?

"If your 3.5kVA Su-Kam inverter blows up every time you turn it on, the issue is likely a persistent short circuit or a faulty repair. Check these 4 areas:"
  1. Output Short Circuit: Ensure there is no short circuit in your home's main wiring. Disconnect the output load completely and try turning the inverter on. If it works fine, the problem is in your home wiring.
  2. Faulty Driver Circuit: When MOSFETs blow, they often damage the driver ICs or resistors. If you only replace the MOSFETs without fixing the driver section, the new components will explode immediately upon power-up.
  3. Shorted Transformer: A primary or secondary short in the main copper transformer can cause an immediate massive current draw, leading to a blowout.
  4. DC Input Polarity: Double-check your battery connections. For a 3.5kVA system (usually 48V), ensure all batteries are in series correctly and there are no loose terminals causing sparking.
"Recommendation: Use a Series Bulb Test (60W-100W bulb) while testing the repaired board. If the bulb glows bright, it means there is still a short circuit, preventing another explosion."

How can i check inverter output short circuit,IGBT,Rectifier by digital multimeter?

"To check an inverter using a digital multimeter, set it to Diode Mode.
  1. Rectifier: Measure between DC terminals and AC inputs. You should see 0.3V to 0.6V. A 0.000 reading means a shorted diode.
  2. IGBTs: Place the black probe on DC+ and check output phases (U, V, W). Then place the red probe on DC- and repeat. Readings should be consistent across all phases.
  3. Short Circuit: Check for continuity between output terminals. Any 'beep' or zero resistance indicates a direct short circuit."

I got a 64 gb sandisk sd card. When I try to format, it just says card error.

"A 'Card Error' on a 64GB SanDisk SD card usually indicates a file system corruption or a physical lock. Try these steps to fix it:" Check the Physical Write-Protect Switch: Ensure the tiny plastic switch on the left side of the SD card is pushed UP (towards the metal contacts). If it is down, the card is locked and cannot be formatted. Clean the Contacts: Use a pencil eraser or a drop of isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab to gently clean the gold metal contacts on the back of the card. Dust or oils can cause connection errors. Use Diskpart on Windows (Deep Format): If a standard format fails, use the Command Prompt: Connect the card to a PC. Open CMD as Administrator and type diskpart, then list disk. Identify your SD card's disk number and type select disk X (replace X with your card's number). Type clean, then create partition primary, and finally format fs=exfat quick. Hardware Failure: If none of these steps work and the card still shows 'Error' on multiple devices, the internal flash controller has likely failed, and the card may need to be replaced.

I have asked this question so many times I would like to know how to update my Samsung note 8.0 so I can view photos please

"The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is an older device, and its official software updates have stopped. If you are having trouble viewing photos, try these solutions:"
  1. Check for Updates: Go to Settings > About Device > Software Update. If any minor update is available, install it.
  2. Use Browser for Photos: If the Gallery app is failing, open the Chrome browser and go to photos.google.com. This is the most reliable way to view photos on older Android versions.
  3. Third-Party Gallery: Download a lightweight app like "Simple Gallery" or "Gallery Go" from the Play Store. These apps support newer photo formats that the original Samsung gallery might not recognize.
  4. Clear Cache: Go to Settings > Application Manager > Gallery and select 'Clear Cache'. This often fixes loading issues

One half of "poerdrive" inverter doesn't work how do I access fuses?

"To access the fuses on a Powerdrive inverter, follow these steps:"
  1. Safety First: Disconnect the inverter from the battery and turn the power switch ON for a few seconds to drain the capacitors.
  2. Disassembly: Remove the screws from the front and rear panels. Slide the aluminum housing off to reveal the circuit board (PCB).
  3. Locate Fuses: Look for standard automotive-style blade fuses (usually green or orange) soldered or plugged into the board near the DC input terminals.
  4. Testing: Inspect them for a broken link or use a multimeter to check for continuity. If one half of the inverter is dead, check the fuses or MOSFETs specifically on that side of the circuit.

I have a Trace DR3624 inverter and solar panels equal to 160 volts how many more volt panels can I add to my inverter system?

  1. The Inverter's Limit: The inverter itself doesn't take the solar voltage; your Charge Controller does. The maximum voltage you can add depends entirely on the specifications of the Solar Charge Controller you are using with this system.
  2. Standard Limits: If you are using a standard 60A or 80A MPPT controller, most of them handle up to 150V or 250V DC. Since you are already at 160V, you are likely near the limit of a 150V controller and might need to switch to a parallel configuration or a higher-voltage controller.
  3. Recommendation: Check the VOC (Voltage Open Circuit) rating on the back of your charge controller. Do not exceed that limit, as it could burn the controller.
Summary: You cannot add more volts directly to the inverter. You need to check your Charge Controller's maximum DC input voltage."

Hooked up to wrong polarity

Oh dear. Probably time to purchase a replacement invertor as the damage may be catastrophic. Firstly check the main fuse. If the fuse has blown, the protection diode may have saved it, so replace the fuse and check it again.

Replace Your Power Cords

In general, when all else fails to fix an electronic item, think about replacing the power cords. I had tried everything to fix my CCTV system with an NVR, when it stopped recording on the hard drive, started constantly beeping, the mouse stopped responding, etc...after exhausting all avenues; I finally replaced the power cord and everything stated working fine. Same thing happened when I tried to connect an older but fine printer to my new PC, it wasn't being recognized by the computer at all. Reinstalling the software did not fix the issue. I finally ordered a new power cord, and it installed fine. In both instances, I have an extra power cord on hand for these items as well in case something happens again. I have found that this item is the one we fail to replace the most if at all even think about it.
