I bought a Sharp XE A102 cash register at a rummage sale only to find out that there is not an instructaion book in the like new box! I need to know how to program the thing ASAP as I'm leaving town with it and want to use it at a fiber show. Any help would be greatly appricated. intialize(clear) mode switch to REG and plug in.

Make sure battery and paper in the machine.

MODE TO PROGRAM:

TIME: enter 4 digit military time such as 8 AM would be 0800
3:00 PM would be 1500, etc press the #sbtl key time is in

DATE: Enter month date and year in 6 digits such as: March 15 2002 would be 0315202 depress the # sbtl date is in.

TAX RATE: 9 # SBTL TAX RATE SUCH AS 1 @ tm
70000 @/TM 10 CA/TEND.

YOU HAVE MADE 7 % TAX IN DEPARTMENTS 1 - 4
5 - 8 ARE NON TAX. THSI CAN BE CHANGED BUT MAY
GET YOU GOING . GO TO TO REG MODE AND SEE IF IT WORKS. AS I SAY THIE IS XE 101 MAY NOT BE THE SAME FOR 102.
