If the power light is blinking amber - The problem could be that the computer is receiving electrical power, but an internal power problem might exist.
Ensure that the voltage selection switch is set to match the AC power at your location (if applicable).
Ensure that the processor power cable is securely connected to the system board.
If you have a surge protector, turn it off for 30 seconds, then back on.
If you don't have one (you should on any expensive electronics to avoid them from blowing when there is a storm) turn off your computer, then unplug it from the wall for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
