Have GE JGSP48, getting error code F7 d9 flashes on until i press clear button, then the clock comes back on. about 3 to 4 minutes later it starts beeping again and the F7 comes back on. none of the other buttons will work. the only button that works is the clear/off button.
Clock works ok. have opened panel and cleaned it.
How do I get the rest of the buttons to work?

powerman's solution worked great. It took me about 10 minutes. Just needed a sheet of paper, scissors and a philips screwdriver!

I have a jenn air SVE47600F.It just started beeping and giving a code 7.None of the controls work when it brings the code up,but controls work fine when code is not there. f7 is a stuck keypad or overlay all you can do is replace it

Same problem here - worked fine then we had a power outage. When the power came back on the stove developed the problem.
