SOURCE: Hoover Steam Vac clean water tank valve leaks

Honey! It's broke. You can manuever the little black valves out, but you will only find the hole in the clean water tank. I have the EXACT same problem. My advise to you is to take the valves, caps and handle off, sell them on EBAY and then buy you a whole new clean water tank.

Fill the dirty water tank with hot water and giving the tank a good shake then pour the water out. Continue to do this until the water coming out of the dirty side of the tank is clean.

SOURCE: Scooba does not release water

I tried the straw on the solution valve. Worked last time, but no luck this time. I ended up using a can of compressed air on the solution outlets on the bottom of the unit (in the trough in front of the brush).

SOURCE: my scooba isn't picking up any water and the dirty tank is dry

I found that if I filled the two oblong extended openings under the tank with water and gave it a quick **** I was able to clear a large amount of cr@p out. It took many attempts to get it to the point where I could blow into the holes and sense a clear passage. The good thing is that it's an easy fix; the bad thing is you have to get a mouthful of cr@p.
