Either the charger or connector has a problem. There is a battery, but it is not a normal replacement item. You will find the battery behind the back cover.
Do a factory reset. Remove all power including internal battery. Let the unit discharge completely. Plug into external power supply and try to start up. If it starts. shut down, put the external cord out , replace internal battery, and recharge for an hour. Now try a strat from the internal batter. If it fails, that s the problem.
the internal battery has reached it's lifespan.....use power bank if you don't want to replace the internal battery..the tab will get the power from the power bank...powerbank is a recharcheable battery with usb connection than can be connected to your tab to power it up....
If its still under warantee you can send it in to the manufacturer to have the battery and charging system replaced. If not it has internaly 2 gel batteries that are (with some work) replaceable. They were not designed to be replaced but can be. It has 2 snap tabs on each long end that can be opened with a flat head screw driver. If it is an older model it may also have 4 screws one under each foot pad an eye glasses screw driver can remove these. Once you get it open the batteries are two identical silver rectangles that togeather take up the majority of the internal workings. They have part numbers that can be used to order new ones from radio shack or another electronics store. I recomend sending it to the manufacurer however. The not only do great work they also wartee their repairs.
Is it a different charger? If it isn't try plugging it into a car or at home on the computer or the wall. If that doesn't work maybe getting it checked out will help.
Sounds like a CMOS battery problem, assuming the internal power battery is working fine. May have to get someone to open your tablet PC to replace the battery (cmos)
