Tablet not found

My drawing board has been working fine for years. Now suddenly my computer doesn't seem to recognize that it's still there. If I open TabletWorks it says "couldn't find tablet". I've rebooted and shut down the computer (this has worked for me in the past) - nothing! The only thing that I changed recently was the addition of a new HP L1908w monitor. Could that have anything to do with my problem? Doesn't seem very likely to me!

I'm going through the same thing. My problem started when we replaced the lexan cutting surface on our plotting table. The static electricity zapped our Drawing Board.

I have the same problem, I didn't change anything, my computer just stopped "seeing" the board!

SOURCE: GTCO Roll-Up II digitizer suddenly

Hello.

There may be a problem with the GTCO Roll-Up II driver (software to run the tablet).

Here is a link to find the driver, in case you don't have a copy.

http://www.getdigitizers.com/Roll-Up-Digitizer_c_109.html

Select Drivers next to Roll-Up II and Save then Run the TW-10.9.24 file.

If not the driver, then check the ribbon cable connections on both ends. Disconnect and then reconnect the ribbon cable to be sure it is seated well. Then press the reset button on the controller.

If still a problem, check this printable Help file, if you don't have a copy of the User Guide:

Hope this helps.

Go to Control Panel, and open bamboo properties. There you select the "pen" tab. In the pen tab you will see tracking. Select pen mode and details. You can map the pad there. After mapping pen mode try it in mouse mode as well. Best of luck!

First conform that serial port is selected as NONE on digitizer manager while you running the lectra tablet utilities. If you try this already please check your cable connectivity any one of the line may be missing connection. It may work but you can't able to run lectra tablet utilities.
