I have one installed Windows 7 64Bit version on my PC with product key registration and all legal. I then installed a new HDD and installed another Windows 7 32Bit on that HDD, also this with it's own license and product key. The purpose is to use the 32Bit HDD in another PC, since that machine failed to boot from the DVD no matter how I tried. I moved the 32Bit new HDD to the other PC. Now I have 2 versions of Windows 7 on my own PC and I have to choose one of the Windows 7 at start up. This is not what I whan't so how do I remove the 32Bit Windows 7 from my PC, thus keeping the Windows 7 64Bit. The Repair function does not work and System Restore Point does not solve this issue. Thanks, but this will require a number of re-installations of my total set-up of all installed SW and since this is a bit too cumbersome, I have chosen another solution until it will be time for a complete "makeover".
My current work around is "System Properties"; "Start-Up"; "Show OS in 0-999s" set to 0. This helps to shorten the start up time, however a bit annoying that it's not possible to "uninstall" whatever I as PC owner and "Licensed user" have installed without a complete re-installation.
