Jello, It a very nice night scope then and even to day, it American made. Those ITT 1st generation image intensifier tube have a life of about 10K hours+. If it had a few exposures to bright lights this will take a way from the life of the tube.
The only way to trouble shoot the problem is to take it parts. ITT will not provide any information on this Nightqest NV devise. You'll need someone the knows electronic in depth, troubleshoot solid state devise, and make HV ingitors for the tube in thousands of voltage. The problem could a simple passive component to the image intensifier tube has quit. Expensive to repair if the tube is bad. stewbison
