i have no spark on my waverunner 500 how would test the cdi to see if its working ?

THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS TO CHECK THE KILL SWICH THEY ARE BAD ABOUT CARODING,,, BUT THE ONLY WAY TO CHECK THE CDI UNIT IS TO REPLACE IT ,,,,HOPE THIS HELPS,,,,,JUST SPRAY THE KILL SWITCH WITH SOME WD-40 AND HOOK AND UNHOOK A FEW TIMES,THIS USAULY WILL WORK.
