Hello, I have a Sony Handycam dcr-hc14e/hc15e and a new pc with Windows 7. I'm not able to make them communicate. With the handycam I have a software named Picture Package 1.0, that is not suitable with Windows 7, so I'm not able to view and transfer my videos on the pc. I don't know if it's a problem of software or of drivers. Please, I really need your help. Thank you so much!!! Donata

This camera was no doubt made before your camcorder was released.

I found this on the tech support page for it:

"(4) The supplied software (Picture Package), which is required for importing movies, is not compatible with Windows 7. Instead, please download and use PMB Ver.5.6.01 which is compatible with Windows 7 (except for Starter)."

This should solve your problem. Be sure to read through the page and follow the instructions carefully.

    from the handy go to menu, FN, set up, usb stream and click YES. its all!
