I have been using my iiyama Prolite E2200WS lcd monitor for 4 yrs now without any problems. Suddenly today, the OSD menu stays on without being able to exit from it. It also flashes to all it's settings and then goes 'OSD Lock'. Furthermore I noticed that the on/off button is not working. Does it mean that the board has gone bad? Thanks.

In looking up the phone number for you to call, I noticed the price on this monitor, it is in the high range. Seems a shame a small part can take you down but it does happen. So, don't feel alone. Stick to your guns and don't give up until you get satisfaction from this company.

Thanks for boosting the rating. It mean a lot to us here. We don't get paid by the hour or anything like that. What we do, most of us have been doing for free for years. This site has a bright future as they pick up relationships with vendors. Tehre are certain requests, where we do get a token payment of four or six dollars. Most of us use this money on our own Power Computers to buy high end parts.

Hi,
The problem of OSD Menus popping up automatically are usually caused due to a faulty switch in the Menu button which is getting switched on automatically.

This menu will not harm the computer but constant OSD menu will most probably lead to permanent damage to the pixels in the LCD screen plus it is a constant irritation to your eyes which are most precious.

This problem can be rectified by replacing the faulty menu switch. Hope this solves your problem Thanks.

When you have strange symptom like this, the first place to look will be the power supply section, look for bad caps (leaking/bulging tops) first.
