I have been using the grill for about a year now. All of a sudden the electronic igniter dosen't spark on all control knobs. I checked the battery and replaced it with a new one. It did not change anything. Is there a spark generator that can go bad? Just need help. Thanks Bud

The spark works by using a ground wire or the ignitor touching the grill cabnet. You might net to cleam the ignitor and also check the wire to the ignitor. The screw that holds the ground may be loose.

First, Bud make sure the battery was installed facing the proper direction. The Positive end (+) should be facing out when installed. If that's not the problem, check the wiring from the ignition module to the each burner ignitor. One may be loose or the grounding wire from the ignitor module to the grill's frame, may have lost contact. Also, look carefully at each ignitor tip at the burners. They may have an accumulation of grease, which needs to cleaned off.

If all that doesn't resolve the problem, you will need to replace the ignitor module. You can purchase one online directly from NEX Grill http://www.nexgrill.net/ or from Factory Appliance Parts
http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/search/index.php

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know and Happy Grilling!!
