I turn on the computer and it starts working fine, when the page of Windows starts and all the icons appears it goes off and goes on again like if i restart it and keep doing the it. It's a HP Compaq 7800 convertible with Inter core 2 duo 988 mb ram. The comp. was downlode to Window XP Profecional by manucfature. It Works in Safemode

Hi there,

You have mentioned that your computer works in safemode. This means that there are programs that starts up with windows that is causing this problem. In safemode, click start then run. In the run box type msconfig then click ok. At the startup tab you will see the programs that starts up with xp. Try disabling some or all of them (trial and error) to check which software gives you this problem.

    Thank' s but it did not fix the problem. In Safe mode i click the start button, click run and type sysdm.cpl and in advance tab in the system failure area i uncheck" Automatically Restart. Then when the PC crash i reacive a stop error message that reads like this:

    Stop: c00002la [fatal system error}
    The windows Subsystem System process terminated unexpectedly
    with a status of 0xc0000005 (ox7c91o1b3 0x00c7ed04)
    The system has been Shut down

    Beginning dump of Physical memory
    Physical memory dump complete
    Contact your system administrator or tecnicol support group
    for further assistence Hope you could help me thank's
