Can no longer upload Audio books

When I attempt to upload an Audible audio file from the Audible web site, the progress bar gets to about 5% and freezes. During which time my sansa m250 freezes with the message "writing data" on the screen. The Audible program on my desktop wont close by convential means so I mush do the Control-Alt-Delete thing to terminate running the program. The only way to get sansa to shut down is by pulling out the battery. Please help.

    Mankou,

Thank you for the advice. I assume what you mean by "soft reset/restore factory defaults" is the "Reset All" Option under the Settings menu. When I attempt that option, I am taken to a screen that says "Restore Default. Reset to factory default settings" then there is a box with an "x" in the lower left corner and a box with a "check" in the lower right corner. When I select the check box and press the Enter button, I dont see any change and I am taken back to the previous Settings screen. Same scenario when I select the "x" box and press the Enter button. Thanks in advance for your and anyone elses help.

No Joy mankou,
There is nothing to slike up as directed in the link. My particular model SanDisk has an on/off button that gets pressed to turn on and off. I did however go thru the motions pressing and holding the power button, but there is no change.
