Jul 15, 2009 - Hiya, I am having problems locating a picture of the remote control for a... hi my remote has broken for my xenius tv I have bought a universal ...
I got a tip for this and in this tip are codes you can TRY, now the sky universal remotes are senstive to tv codes so you need to try the manufacture codes if that does not work then you need to ditch the sky remote and get a remote that works with the sky box and the tv as a solution. IN my tip there are remote solutions as well, please do not shoot the messenger I am not sky or the manufacture I am just helping for free,
The Sky engineer told me that there wasn't a code for this model TV but thanks to the guys at: http://genuinecopies.tv/skyCodes.asp?brand=bush&model=s626d
I was able to find it the code is : 206
This was for a REV Ver 8 Sky remote.
Their code finder should work for other models too.
To use sky+ remote control with LG 42LH3000 you must have a rev ver8 remote controller.
The codes are stored in a database of the Sky remote. If the old codes don't work you may need to buy the latest Sky remote. Otherwise it is a matter of waiting for the new Sky remote which may have the updated codes.
Note: LG Support supplied the following for Rev.8: 0206, 1293, 1665, 1174, 1176, 1219, 1280, 0857, 0851.
Version 1: August 1998 Version 2: December 1999 Version 4: May 2001 (Sky+ introduced) Version 6: March 2004 Version 8: January 2006 (includes all current Sky+HD remote controls)
