Hey there, I have had my Sennheiser CX 300ii earphones for more than a year, and sound has been superb until today when the left earphone stopped playing music! I have had a read over some answers and many suggest to remove the mesh which might have earwax in them... i really doubt that is the case because it looks very clean, and i have a mate whose headphones i can clearly say had earwax in them... i tried pulling and pressing the left wife in the V shaped part that seperates the headphone into two. it produces the sound when doing this for a second and then stops! Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you! Jo

They need a minimum level of signal to switch on the transmitter.
Verify if it works on yet another system.
Make sure you have the right output on your Samsung.
Try to increase the output level of your Samsung...(up the volume, but it may be a fixed output..)

that means that the programing of your ipod is only on head phone or you did not insert the wire in correctly

I had the same problem when I plugged it into a new HDTV. The problem was that the sound on the TV was set too low. The transmitter has a feature that automatically turns off when the signal is off or too low. Try turning up the TV volume to a high/higher level and it should solve your problem. Using the headphone jack with the white input allows you to use the headphones while bypassing the TV speakers.

I inserted a drill bit that fits the exact size of the aperture and twisted it around a few turns and it is working better.
