I am having a problem with the programing the ASTORIA DIVINA SAE 7 T pad coffee machine. at first i thought that was the right hand side pad, i switched the right hand side pad to the left side and i tried it, it was still the same, i changed the places of the ribbon cable in the main board but it was the same think not programming , i put them back to the first position, than i went and checked out the right hand side flow meter of the machine and than the light on that flow meter was not working, but i did change the magnetic propeller in the flow meter just to make sure that is not going to be the problem, than that flow meter worked fine and the right hand side group start working but my problem is that i cant get the two 7 touch pad buttons programmable in the desire coffee dosage, i see there is a little switch just under the right hand side of the machine near the steam wand i moved that to the left position and i hold the prog/stop button on the right hand side of the touch pads than the red solid lights came on the 6 buttons , than i pressed the fist button which in this case was the button of 1 shot of espresso ( before this time i had put the filter spout in its place and an espresso cup under it) the red solid light stayed for couple of seconds and than the light start blinking, so i carry it on in all the buttons and it was the same think. i switched the programming button to its own position and i went to try if i had the programming done correctly but it not , when i pressed the espresso button the water was not stopping in the right time which i thought i had programmed it but it went on brewing all way. this is where i am standing now and i dont know what exactly to do next because i have checked almost the best possible problems that might have been caused in to the machine. please sir give me an advice what to do next if this is not a much of a problem for you.

You have mention that you have replace the magnetic propeller of the flow meter. Moreover you should check for sure that the propeller it can rotate freely. many times very small parts of scale can block the rotation of the propeller thus not giving the signals to the electronic board.
So you can use a metalic brush and a metalic tool so the comaprtment of the propeller is very clean. Also clean very well the upper part of the flow meter which is above the mangets which some times a small layer of water dirt can blocke the magnets giving signals.

If you have just clean it very well then their are two more serious options.

The first is that the flow meter upper part which read the magnet and transform them into pulses is bad so you need anew flow meter or atlease the upper parts.

You should check also the two wires leaving the flow meter if they have continuity up to the electronic board.

If you still have the problem after this then you have a more serious problem which a bad electronic board.
