I had the same problem and I really like my TV, it's not that old. Unfortunately it turns out there is not much you can do and definitely you can't do that by yourself (unless you are a super engineer or something), if you call a repair man it will be costly, so eventually it comes cheaper to buy a new TV than to fix this problem. I really hate it :-(
