How do I set the resolution, screen posts a box saying for best results use 1680 x 1050@60HZ, how can I set this?

Hello,
In XP goto the control panel and click display. Select the Settings tab and move the screen resolution bar to the right until it says 1680x1050.
Vista should be similar to the XP instructions.
In windows 7 goto the control panel and click display. Select Adjust Resolution from the menu to the left. Now adjust the display setting to 1680x1050.
