I am attempting to access the Bios on an IBM xseries 235 by depressing the f1 key at boot up without success. This process has worked in the past. Can anyone suggest a reason why the F1 key will not open the Bios setup screen? Thanks

    My system works perfectly. I need and expert on xseries servers not general computers.

    This solution was right on the money. Only I needed to go to IBM for the BIOS file. Once I flashed th Bios all was well. Thanks.

Try pressing F2. Some IBM computer uses F2 for the BIOS. If both will not work. try to use another keyboard. If same thing will happen after using different keyboard then its gonna be the motherboard is already at fault.
