I have an athlon xp +2600 but it say i only have an +1800 any help with that?

Good help can only be provided with motherboard information. but chances are, you will need a bios update on the motherboard to recognize the newer faster processor. This holds true any and all processors. Same thing happens with Intel processors on motherboards on which the bios is not updated.
