If I had the user manual for this product, I'm sure I could solve it right away. Have every thing connected correctly.By the waym the product is a Teac RW D250 CD/DVD recorder. A question, is it possible to record LP's onto CD's?

If you have a left and right INPUT (Analog) on the 250. you should be able to plug the OUTPUT or L/R SPEAKER directly into the 250 for a recording signal. The headphone jack on your record source is another option!!

The TEAC site seems impenetrable as far as just asking for a certain model number but you could give it a try. As a customer you could also complain that it isn't as straightforward as it should be.
