How do i check for low discharge temperature or maximum length freeze cycle on a scotsman cm3 model#hd30b-1a

First check to see if the bulb of the TEV is secured and insulated well where it can sense the temps and open the valve correctly.

    TEV is thermo Expansion Valve. They have a mercury bulb that is placed on the suction line side and feels the evaporation temp. The TEV restricts the flow of freon. It is the boss.
