Connection Issue I have a Linksys Wireless network, routher. I have 2 laptops at home that connect to it, but I am not able to configure my work laptop, or any other laptop. I've typed in the network key, and it accepts it and says that the wireless network is available, but then it won't connect. My work's IT dept suggested that my router may only allow a certain amount of connections to use the router. Could this be true? How can I change this setting?

Wow! That worked instantly. The wrong key was there so I changed it to the correct one. Thanks for your help!

Hello There. What error message are you getting when you try to connect?

It would be better if you check the settings of your router. YOu need to hardwire the computer to the router via an ethernet cable. By default, you may access the router via http://192.168.1.1 using your web browser. No username, type admin on the password.

First, you may check the number of DHCP users that can connect to your router. On the setup page, Make sure that the No. of clients/DHCP users is set to 50(by default).

Second, go to the wireless tab then take note of your network name if you are connecting to the correct network. Under the wireless tab, click wireless security tab, verify that you are using the correct KEY.

If you are, remove your preferred networks on the computers then try to reconnect.

Hope this helps.
