If you have lost your sound card, then you will have to buy a new sound card. But I beleive you have lost your sound driver rather than card, if so then please visit the following link to install the audio drivers.
My laptop doesn't have audio drivers and it rejects each and every audio driver that i try to install. can you please help download and install a new audio driver
First check the controlpanel there is an option to take Sounds And Audio Devices Properties. then click on the AUDIO tab, check the Default Sound Playback Device.select the correct Audio divice.if the problem persist do the driver for sound ( multimeadia audio driver) from the acer driver cd.then try.
