Hi pabooth,
The key and a small padlock that is on the shaver screen means TRAVEL LOCK INDICATION. To deactivate the travel lock follow these steps:
1. Press the on/off button for 3-5 seconds. The yellow key symbol lights up.
2. The symbol flashes 3-4 times. Once unlocked the motor will start running. Then the symbol will go out.
