Open the Internet browser and navigate to the Marantz.com website. Select "Products," then choose "DVD Players."

Select the DVD player you are currently using, then select "Manuals and Downloads." This lists all of the available updates for the Marantz DVD player.

Click the software update to download to your computer system

Plug the USB flash drive into a USB port on the computer, then click "Start," "(My) Computer," then double-click the removable device icon. A window loads with all of the files stored on the flash drive.

Click-and-drag the software update into the open window, then close the window, right-click the removable device icon and select "Eject."

Disconnect the flash drive from the computer once the icon disappears.

Plug the USB flash drive into the USB port on the rear of the Marantz DVD player, then power on the device. The software update will upload onto the DVD player. A prompt on the television screen appears once the update has finished.
